Vascular Access Center

In 2007, Peninsula Vascular Access Center was opened to specifically to improve the delivery and coordination of vascular access care to ESRD patients. Our goal is to work with local physicians and surgeons to improve the delivery and outcomes of interventional vascular access care through our dedicated outpatient center. Through this approach, this area of healthcare has witnessed significant improvements.

The Peninsula Vascular Access Center offers the opportunity to improve patient outcomes and quality of life while helping physicians concentrate on proactive care and early intervention. Today, delivering vascular access care in a dedicated outpatient environment has become the standard for care. Since opening, we have performed over 10,000 procedures with an overall procedure success rate of 99.6%.

The center performs the following procedures:

• Angiograms
• Angioplasty
• Thrombectomy
• Catheter placements, removals and exchanges
• Vessel mapping for optimal access placement
• Fistula maturation and repair
• Doppler Sonography of Dialysis Access
