Lei Chen, M.D.

Dr. Chen joined Peninsula Kidney Associates in 2017; he currently practices at our Williamsburg office.

He began an Internal Medicine Residency at East Tennessee State University in 2010 as he missed working with patients directly as a physician. After finishing the residency program successfully in 2013, he went on to a Nephrology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed this program in 2015.

Dr. Chen is board certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine in Nephrology. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and a variety of indoor and outdoor sports.
